We are a group of graduate students conducting extensive research on issues related to the opportunities and problems of rapid coastal growth in Mexico. The project constitutes our Master's thesis at the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in association with the Eco-Entrepreneurship Program. The Bren Group Project is a unique Master's thesis approach that allows students to work on an applied issue for an external client, company, or organization. As participants of the Eco-Entrepreneurship Program we were uniquely tasked with writing a Business Plan to turn Coastal EcoVentures into a viable company.
